One thing I do as an exercise is to use the hitter and pitcher payroll spreadsheets to plan out teams.
For instance, I have one team planned out for use in the next OL I enter. The team has a twelve-man pitching staff consisting of a four-màn starter rotation, three long relievers, three set up men, a LH specialist, and a closer. All saved on a spreadsheet.
Why twelve pitchers, you might ask? Because reasons!
Well, really I just want to see usage stats. Because science.
