I never intended to question Russ, his actions, character or how he runs his leagues. I have nothing but positive things to say about him. I am a big Rooskie supporter.
It was my actions I wanted comments on. I have removed the original post. But I asked: Did I do a bad thing dropping out and only giving ten days notice when I was previously unaware of the impending draft? Were my reasons for dropping trivial? Was this grounds for being labeled an owner in bad standing?
I have run several one-time theme leagues but never an on going league or a progressive. I have belonged to many that were held up for weeks looking for a replacement for someone who mysteriously disappeared. I have great admiration for any one who tackles what is sometimes a difficult and thankless job.
Water under the bridge. Many have stepped forward willing to take over my draft while I am gone. Now I have to come up with a massive proxy list covering eight or nine rounds.
For those who posted, thank you for your comments.
