Was it Ripper Collins? He's got that one huge season in '35, I think.

His 380 total bases tied with '62 Frank Robinson, '28 Ruth, '38 Greenberg, and '98 Castilla...

That season sounds like Jimmy Rollins with the 20 triples...

I see Ripper Collins had 369 total bases in '34, but even that was bested by Teixeira and Mantle, in addition to Rollins, amongst switch-hitters.

For the 2nd one I'm going with Rickey Henderson. He knew when not to swing

For the 1st one. Imma go with a couple of my Tigers guys. Is it either Mickey Lolich or Denny McLain?

For the pitcher, I'm gonna guess one of the knuckleballers, so Niekro (one or the other) or Wilbur Wood.
