which jesus..the real jesus that is not really known or the jesus split into 4 divergent stories by so called witnesses 30-50 years after he died.....feed which hungry..all hungry or his friends hungry.. he said in one of the gospels about a starving person in a tribe not his own..to the dogs go the the scraps....thats in one of the gospels....and
he was picky about who he would heal.
i think he was a man of his times.
jesus would shop at salvation army.

I take the whole story of the Good Samaritan and "am I my brother's keeper - who is my brother?" etc. to be pretty clear that he was telling his followers to go beyond divisions of ethnicity, nationality or tribe in who they should take care of.

As for him being a man of his times, ok, but it may not be necessary to draw the same the conclusions from that assumption that you do dino.
