They need to remove the min PA and innings rule.It ties the hands of owners,Very bad idea on there part.

I quit playing OLs two years, and since then I can't say I've been bored with any of my teams.

Progressives have kept my interest high through the boring periods in other leagues. I play an OL every few months just to try something different and see what other owners are trying.

Grizz...you should definitely expand your WIS horizon...different caps...theme leagues....progressives!

Nope.

I can see where open leagues could get boring for veteran owners... Like Scott said, progressives are the way to go...

progressives and cool theme leagues....

The biggest problem right now is the amount of time it takes to fill any theme or progressive league... just a sad reflection on the economy I guess.

I always like new theme ideas. maybe they'll get boring during the long season but they're fun to strategize and draft. Champs Leagues are boring these days.

I want to try a progressive, but I am a chicken. Maybe my nutz will drop soon.

let 'em drop, daron!

Progs are the way to go!!

Couldn't have said it any better.

After every release, I play in a few open leagues and champs leagues to get a feel for the release. Then I don't play them again until the next release.

Heck, right now I'm even in a $160m cap theme league. This is only the 2nd time I ventured so high.

The pros and cons:

OLs: Boring as hell, but you'll have 10-20 more wins a season than you'd have in other leagues (maybe even more wins, if you're one of those owners who keeps "refining" the same roster over and over and over again).

Progs and Themes: Win less, but have a lot more fun. Draft a completely different team for every league -- and also face different teams in every league.

Yes, I have slowed down completely.

No more LIVE teams.

Just 2 SIM teams

Keeping an eye on my TOC teams.

This is after about 4 years of non-stop playing.

Progressives are definitely more fun and interesting....unless you're in 3 and all are rebuilding!

I don't play many OL,ever once in awhile I'll try to build a WS team in CBP...with no success to date. I also found that if you're in progressives and want to be successful you need to spend time researching upcoming drafts...much more fun than throwing together an OL team

Themes and proggys are the only way to go. Don't remember my last OL team, doubt it if I'll play one again, at least not anytime soon.
