2 quick questions please. Topic

If anyone would be a able to answer these 2 questions?

1)just curious, when do the 2010 players get released?

2)If I start a free league and want to transport those same players to a regular open league can this be done?

1) A couple weeks, maybe a bit sooner, after the reg season is over.
2) Yes. In the draft center of your open league, there will be a drop down menu at the top, with a list of all active teams plus all draft center rosters. You can load any of those active teams/rosters.

cool, I bet these new 2010 players will be overpriced such as Josh Hamilton. Is there truth to that?

They won't be as good of deals as some 19th century players, but relative to the general database they'll be priced just fine I'm sure.

I don't think you'll find general overpricing in the 2010 players..
There will be of that, and some good values to be found as well.  I enjoy when the seasonal releases happen. It's like mining for gold nuggets.

2 more quick ones....

1)do prices of other players change when they bring out the 2010 players?

2)If a players pitch count (ip x 16) is 128, is it wise to leave his real pitch count at that high #? will that tire him more during the season and during the game?

Divide his IPs by the number of games you expect to play him in. Then multiply by 16 for your pitch count.

1) No
2) The second part of your question is more straight forward, so I'll answer that first.  As far as fatigue goes, admin has stated that pitchers don't fatigue as long as they stay under the "real life" PC per game and their prorated season allocation.  Knowing that,   How "wise" it is to set a PC at 128 (assuming a "real life" PC of 128) depends on your overall team and pitching staff structure.  Basically you want to leverage your pitching staff for the most wins you can.  Using you best pitcher late in games you have already won (or loss) probably a waste of a good arm.  On the other hand if you have a cheapo innings eater at the back end of your rotation, leveraging that arm for the most inning you can migh be an efficient use.
