Generally not.  No clones usually means exactly that.

In a no clones league, the commish should check off no clones in the theme wizard when setting up the league.  In which case, no one will be able to pick up clones off the WW.

"No Clones" means no clones, period.  If you have any doubt, ask the Commish for clarification - preferably before you commit (and definitely before the season starts).

Yeah, I agree no clones means no clones.  I just think the commish, to make things ironclad, should include it in the theme wizard setup.  It would be like advertising no WW and no trades, then once the season starts the owners see they're able to pick up players off the WW and make trades.  If the commish doesn't want those things, making it automatic is better than relying on the honor system.

I agree.  My assumption in any theme league that allows the use of the WW is that it must comply with the other theme rules unless specifically stated otherwise.  Unfortunately, I have been in at least 2 leagues where a "clever" owner thought he found a loophole in this situation, and as expected in both cases it ended up as a mess.

This is why you should always check the settings when entering a league.  There have been several requests to make NO CLONES the pre-set in the Theme Wizard.  I find that alot of guys are sloppy when setting up their leagues.

Also, I would agree that no clones means no clones, in any way shape or form.  It is widely understood that  rules posted in the forums are the rules that are to be followed.  If the settings are screwed up this is not a loophole to be exploited.  

I just set up theme league with the intentions of "no clones" but there was not a choice for it in the theme league setup wizard.  How do I input "no clones" when setting up a theme league?  I have been in several leagues where the description said "no clones" so I never attempted to draft any.  After going through the setup wizard, I just assumed that when theme league creators posted "no clones" that it was on the honor system not to have any.  What is the proper way to "not be sloppy" and implement "no clones?"

Step 3 of the theme wizard.  Click the "team total restrictions" button.  A number of options will pop-up, one of which is "do not allow clones"
