I've bowled a 300 game and average over 200.

As a radio DJ since high school, I have an embarrassingly deep knowledge of music trivia. I'm the DJ other DJs try to stump....usually to no avail.

I am blessed to have always been a pretty popular guy. I don't know if funny is a skill, but I'm the funniest guy most of my friends know. I like making people laugh.

My wife and my dog love me. I'm pretty proud of that too. :)

Hate to break to you pal, but your dog loves me too. I'm nothing to your wife though if that makes you feel any better (at least thats what she told me)

I got really good at playing the violin. Not sure how I didn't end up going to school on a music scholarship... I'm good at writing music, which is what I'm concentrating more on now... I got really good at playing the real version of spades. Iwin.com no longer hosts it, so I no longer play, which might be a blessing in disguise... I'm good at poker... I've always been excellent with numbers and problem solving. I like physics so much, I'd like to back to school and take classes in that field without the intent of getting a degree... Good at politics/debate... Good at teaching.

I've bowled a perfect game too. Went Brooklyn in the sixth, but buried every other shot. I've had three 279's that were better games.

My 10th shot was Brooklyn and had no business carrying, but it did. Solid otherwise. Knew I had it as soon as I let #12 go, which was a pretty good feeling.

I'm not that good a bowling, but have fun with it. Beer, bowling & greasy bowling alley food. Good stuff.

A few years back when bowled against this guy that in back to back games threw a spare in frame #1, then strikes thru the rest of game #1 and all the way thru game #2 until the last ball in frame #10. 22 straight strikes, no perfect game. Best bowling I've ever seen.

What ELSE?  That makes an assumption I can't make.  Besides, grizz trumped me with his first post in this thread.

You really want to start this over??  I am a pretty decent poker player, I can say that because I win significantly more money than I lose and that is pretty much the standard.  I was also a competitive rugby player for 20+ years, but now having the desire to walk when my newborn son is a teenager has driven me to more mundane hobbies like stamp collecting.  Maybe I'll take up Tennis...do they have full contact tennis?

I'm going through a pretty rough period in my life right now, and it has me feeling pretty crappy about myself.  So this seems like a good opportunity to remind myself of some things I don't suck at.  WIS is not one of them, I do suck at this.

I'm a pretty fine Scrabble player.  My rating isn't the best, but mostly because I haven't played in many tournaments.  Always name my WIS teams using anagrams of legal Scrabble plays (i.e. "Harmonic Omniarch"  or "Coolest Ocelots").  Three times I qualified for Canadian Nationals at Magic: The Gathering, although my glory days for that are behind me.  I pretty much don't lose when playing Dominion.

For something that matters?  I'm a freakin' awesome teacher.  I teach university social statistics and epidemiology.  I can keep students laughing for an entire class, and still have them ace brutally hard exams, because for whatever reason I am damn good at conveying information in way that resonates for students.  My teaching evaluations are amongst the highest at all universities I've taught at.

I find it interesting that almost all of the people who think they are good at "work" are teachers.      Not a whole lotta "I am a great engineer" 's

When I was in University I always was very thankful for the profs that were engaging and funny.  Good on you,

I was an accomplished athlete having run in University and also on a junior AAU team.  My PRs from the 5000 to the marathon are pretty damn competitive.  I also still hold, set 15 years ago, my high school's record for the 2 mile.  I have stopped competing but I still run 50 to 60 miles a week.

I have gotten into lifting weights a lot and I have put on weight.  I now flirt with 200 pounds and can bench press 315 for one rep.  I love working out.

I am also a dedicated father to my two kids aged 2 and 4.

I do very well at work also.  My job is really crazy.  I work for a facility that cares for and treats mentally disturbed youth.  I have stories....

I am also a good academic.  I have an honors degree from a very good and renown university.
