I am confused about how the Starter #2A and 2B, and 3A and 3B work. I am sure there is a thread on this somewhere, but I cant find it. Here is my situation:
My rotation is:
'08 Addie Joss
'02 Bill Bernhard
'18 Fred Toney
'08 Fred Steele
'19 Art Nehf
I have set it up as:
Starter #1: Addie Joss
Starter #2A: Bill Bernhard
Starter #2B: Art Nehf
Starter #3A: Fred Toney
Starter #3B: Elmer Steele
If I set it up this way will my rotation go like this? Addie Joss, Bill Bernhard, Fred Toney, Addie Joss, Art Nehf, Elmer Steele, repeat.
The problem with that is Bill Bernhard has 259 IP and will be getting the same amount of innings as the other three pitchers that have 125 IP tops so I am not sure how to set it up.
I was thinking it might be easier to put Addie Joss and Bill Bernhard as Starters #1-2, then have Fred Toney and Elmer Steele be Starters 3A,3B, and switch Art Nehf in with Toney or Steele when they are too tired to start. Which is the best way to set up this rotation? Is it easier to just set them up as individual starters and manage them that way? Thanks for any input.
