I'm looking at your post again and can't help but laugh at your stupidity. You're accusing me of having fatigued players because I was trying so hard to win 130 games, when I had to win the final game of the season just to make the playoffs with 92 wins.

You're as stupid as the idiot in my last league's forum who threatened to "tell the WIS authorities" that I was intentionally throwing games to keep him from making the wild card because I was resting my pitchers after clinching.

There is no excuse for a "tired" pitching staff when you have 1. A draft   2. A full 162 games to rest your players 3.  AND A WAIVER WIRE, IF YOU FAILED THE FIRST 2 TEST.   From the last sentence of your statement about rest, it seems your FINALLY GETTING, what I've been trying to tell you. You had a nice season and seem to know how to win, why do you feel the need to appear out of nowhere and attack me.  Your name calling only means that you're stressed while I'm having a wonderful day.

If your pitching staff isn't a little tired much of the time you drafted too many innings.  This is the exact opposite of the truth.  If you get a chance to rest for the playoffs that's always ideal, but most of the best owners will play around constant fatigue in an OL.  I really hope you get a chance to enter a CL someday.  You try running out a team with excess PAs and IPs and wasting $10 million on WW transactions and see how things go for you.

And really, you expect anyone to believe you want to keep this thread "topical instead of personal?"  The whole point of the thread, really, was you waiving your hand in the air saying "look at me, look at me!"  And now that everybody's not giving you the respect you think you deserve for your SLB managing your just getting angry and defensive.  Not the reaction you were looking for?  That's a shame.

It's not strategically neutral.  That's a preposterous theory.  Every player in the sim is priced based on the same formula, and while you sometimes get a discount on a player off the WW it's NEVER a 10% discount.  That means you give up some of your money every time you make a transaction.  If you think that's strategically neutral you obviously have a poor conception of the meaning of the word neutral.  The reason it's gotten personal is that lots of very good owners tried to explain to you that your strategy was NOT strategically beneficial, or even neutral.  While we were reasonably impressed that you have managed to win with some WW moves, we refuse to concede that there was no significant portion of luck involved or that it's a good strategy to continue to fall back on.  And you refuse to listen to everyone else (other than mixtroy) and continue to insist that your still-small sample size proves your point.  You won't listen to the reasonable responses.  And you continue to point back to yourself as your sole proof that WW use works.  So here's the deal - your 2 OL titles aren't impressing us.  And that's how it got personal.  If you would have just listened to the HOF owners in the first place it never would have gone there.  But what you REALLY wanted was everyone to come into your thread and pat you on the back, and you just weren't ready to hear an alternate response.

Also, I never said I didn't want to make it personal.  You annoy me.

I love that.

crimson, I've seen others create threads like this before who manage to draw the ire of all the other owners. They never live it down. They become universally disliked and that follows them from thread to thread. I suggest you either never come back to this forum again, or start fresh with a new name and let crimsonblue die.
