Just finished a 19201965 draft and these here's the top ten draftees. I dropped down because I'd drafted Frankie Frisch in 19/64. Also picked up the 19th overall (Rico Petrocelli). I was willing to drop because I knew Morgan was going to be gone and that meant I had my choice between Carlton, Palmer & Hunter - any of whom I'd have been good with. My short list was Palmer, Carlton, Hunter. Carlton has the better career, but he also has some down years (1971 and 1973, for instance), plus he's a lhp, which this site still penalizes. Palmer is consistently excellent throughout most of his career, Hunter has the biggest peaks.
