A lot.  An unrated Chili Davis had an average of eight errors and two - plays in RF in 25 games  An unrated Jim Thome had an average of two errors in RF in six games.  An unrated Edgar Martinez averaged 34 errors and 27 - plays at 1B in a full season, admittedly with more chances.  A D-/D- OF gets maybe 15 errors and 10-15 - plays in a full season.  I would guess that an unrated DH in RF would get at least twice that -- maybe 30+ errors and 20-30 - plays, maybe more.

I definitly remember an arbitrary number. What are the rules of failure gets you 7? It may be that the arbitrary number assumes 100% fatigue.
