I don't remember talking with him much in the forums, but I do remember his crazy way of building teams.  All offense, no pitching.  I bet he put $60k into his offense.  His win/loss record wasn't much, but his teams would wreak havoc on pitching staffs...

A few years ago I created an OL team in his "honor" called THE BIG KAHUNA SPESHULL using the 60M hitting/20M pitching split he so enjoyed.  Shockingly, the team won 115 games (most I've ever had in an OL) in the regular season; not shockingly, the pitching killed us in the first round of the playoffs.  I saved these details from the league (keep in mind the pitchers were god-awful, but all had good HR/9 numbers):

1st in home runs hit: 465 (2nd place hit 201)

1st in fewest home runs allowed: 33 (2nd place allowed 42)

465-33! We hit over 14 homers for every 1 we allowed! 

Batters/Home Runs:

1923 Cy Williams, 80

1931 Mel Ott, 62

1954 Eddie Mathews, 60

1946 Hank Greenberg, 57

1969 Rico Petrocelli, 56

1952 Larry Doby, 55

1930 Gabby Hartnett, 51

1989 Lou Whitaker, 33

WIS was so much more entertaining in those days...also the guy who would always sign "Hand Out!"   Booger, was that you who posted the pic of the guy with one hand and labeled it "Hand Off?"  That was hilarious!

Big Kahuna was fun... I always kind of pictured him looking like Frank the Tank.

Hand Out dude on the other hand... I initially enjoyed rattling his cage, but it became apparent that he had "issues" and needling him became a bit too much like picking on a spazz.   I ended up feeling sorry for / concerned for him more than anything.

Remember once he posted a pic of himself with his car.  Maybe a vintage cadillac with KAHUNA plates (Florida?).  Looked like Jake the body builder.  Guy wasn't the most subtle dude I've come across.
