Anyone else curious that he just dropped his experiment after five seasons with no closure? This was with York (NY) in Knight D3... there's a thread somewhere but I'm too lazy to find it.

I still would have liked to know what his real ID was.  I'll always believe that the experience of the coach would have made a HUGE difference in the outcome.

Did you read the thread and follow the team?  It was pretty darn obvious whoever robot devil was he had an outstanding grasp on the game.

Based on the thread and the sheer talent of his team (he had some really good players), it was definitely an experienced and upper-echelon coach. I remember reading the thread one day and being completely convinced I knew who it was based on the writing style, but I forget now.

I think he proved that good recruiting/coaching could overcome most the benefit of IQ.  What he didn't do was turn the flexibility of no IQ into a weapon against other coaches.
