1,000-rated players Topic

Every once-in-awhile, I see a 1,000-rated player. I don't believe I've ever had one, until this season. What I thought was cool/unusual was two of them in the same division -- the other guy being kyle's soph beast at Miami.

The best part is that he didn't win the CT once in those four years.

I had a similar run in D3 Knight, went to 4 straight national championship games and only won the CT the first year, the other 3 years I didn't even make the CT title game.

Lebron?
I always wondered what Lebron's ratings would be

My guess:  athleticism 100, speed 99, rebounding 96, defense 100, shot blocking 73, low post 96, perimeter 95, ball handling 99, passing 98, work ethic 98, stamina 98, durability 95

total 1147

I think you're pretty high on some of those ratings. Too high on spd, reb, def, per, and bh, in my opinion.

And I am a true Lebron lover. No hate from me.

LeBron:
ATH: 100
SPD: 97
REB: 89
DEF: 100
SB: 78
LP: 97
PER: 91
BH: 96
PSS: 98
WE: 100
STA: 99
DUR: 97

OVR: 1142

I'd take him.

This all has to be relative, and illustrates why there shouldn't be so many players in D1 with ATH in the high 90s. And if LeBron were in college, his DEF would definitely be 100, and every other rating should be right around there, too (except for PER, maybe, although if he proves that his shooting can be consistent and his three-point shooting this year wasn't a fluke, it should be too).

Sure, but I guess I'm not sure why we're comparing 4-time-NBA-MVP Lebron James to 18-year olds.

There are a lot of NBA players who would have exceptional ratings if we are comparing them to current college players. I didn't really think that was the point of the exercise.
