he needs to get you on the list if no big deal, both of you have 3 conference titles each should be some good matchups. 

To all the guys spamming to try to fill a conference (jets, patsrule, anyone else), I think filling a conference is a great goal, but you're going about it the wrong way. People can tell when they get mass sitemails and it doesn't make people want to join your conference, it gets people annoyed with you and they don't want to ever join your conference. If you want to get a coach to try to join your conference, try finding someone in that world, this way you're not asking someone to spend money to pick up an extra team (not always a hindrance, but it is a good strategy). Make a recruiting pitch to them. Not "You should join this conference because I'm joining and we're trying to get a full conference!". That doesn't make anyone want to join your conference. When you make the pitch, do a little research on the coach, give him a personal message, show him that you want him there, not because he's a warm body, but because of his coaching ability. "Hey tkimble, I've seen the impressive program you built at Roanoke. I've also seen you're an active forum contributor and knowledgeable HD coach. We (coaches w, x, y, and z) are trying to put together an active and competitive conference of coaches in Phelan. We think your addition to this conference would be a huge addition for us and we would love to have you." Also, coaches do not want to move from semi-filled conferences to other semi-filled conferences. You either should have 8+ coaches in your conference or you should target coaches who are alone in their conference. Even if a coach says no, he at least has a good impression of you as a coach and you're more likely to be able to recruit him at a later time when he's more open to picking up a new team/ switching conferences. You'll go a long way when you treat others with respect.

This is spot on. It's completely understandable for someone to get ****** off about receiving multiple invites from the same guy after saying no over and over. Also, if it's clearly a generic invitation you're not going to have much luck.

I ended up taking a team in Wooden because pepwaves sent me a message clearly written specifically to me telling me why I should join and why the conference wanted me. Having said that, the conference I joined was one of the "Big Four" conferences with a bunch of good coaches... If you just ask guys to join your unestablished conference there is little incentive for them to join.

i agree with tkimble. ive gotten a bunch of personal invites, and it never bothers me in the slightest. especially when its for a something in particular, like a single opening in a high quality conference thats actually been established for a long time to give confidence its actually a long term venture. i got a bunch on top d3 wooden conferences over the years and even though i have 0 ambition to play 1/day worlds or d3, it doesnt bother me at all. ive also sent similar sitemails myself for the GLV, never more than a couple every few seasons though, id be surprised if i ever broke double digits in a year. and its generally to coaches i have a lot of respect for and preferably, a decent amount of interaction with, in the first place, so that it wont feel random. for a while i had a "target list" of about 5 guys that i would drop a line once a year or so, hoping to some day woo them in. most actually did show up one day, even if it was 3 years later in some cases :) but im not a fan of random cold calling on a large scale, thats definitely not the way to attract people. random forum post is fine though.

When I sent mine I didn't send it to a Ton of people. I sent it to a select group of people that I knew we're good and active coaches most of the coaches said no but in a respectable way and a few inquired about the conference. I don't really see how a sitemail would ruin someones day but hey that's just me.

This is also one of the only times I have sent out sitemails about joining my conference I rarley do it. Sry if I offended anyone.

Well I think colonels just took the lead over jjohn but he's still in the race. And also last time I posted on the forums I also got harassed

Your actions are the reason jjohn posted.  Most people wouldn't do this, but if you've sitemailed him multiple times over about the same thing, I can see the kind of headache it could get to be...i.e. davep sitemailing me about simleague baseball that I haven't played in like 5 years.  This goes on as long as you want it to my friend.
