Any chance we could get a break before the NT starts - It seems like the one day pause between non conference to conference is completely uneeded while a break before the NT would be very helpful!

It takes extra time to find out who you finally play then by the time you know there is a really short window to gameplan!

I agree that we don't need the break after non-conf play.  

The gameplan window's not that short for the NT......the brackets are posted at 5 a.m. EST. That's plenty of time for me.  No break needed.

I'm in agreement with this. I think a break would help to game plan for the NT.

While we're on the subject of breaks, I also think it would be nice to have one after exhibitions and before the start of the first regular season game. It's tough to game plan when the last exhibition is in the afternoon (in one game per day worlds) and the first regular season game is the next morning.

The pause between non-conf and conf play is a necessity, because there are a few random games played on that day.

There's an 11th game slot, but then there's a day off. I agree this day off would be better used right before the NT.

I propose eliminating the off day between conf and non-conf, and moving one of your two bye weeks to this slot.  That way teams that need to play an 11th game will have a time to do so, and the vast majority of teams that don't will still have a small break.  This free day can then be used to give a full day off before the tournament starts, but after the brackets are unveiled.

This only applies to 2 game per day worlds. And it's not a big deal to me since the day is the same as if it was a one game per day world. I am against any extra time before the NT in one game per day worlds. It's bad enough if your team is in rebuilding mode. I wouldn't mind as much in a 2 per day world but still would be annoying.

Along the same lines, I think 2 game per day worlds could use the extra slot off before the tournament. Not the 1 per day, tho.
