i guess he realized how bad it made him look. so he gets credit for that, at least, maybe there is hope for him after all. or maybe he recognized the people saying perception is reality, the way people read you is what matters, not what you meant, were actually right. "the truth!!". i was going to make the same point... just like when someone doesnt think they are talking loud, everyone else does - clearly the person talking, if rational, will ultimately agree they were loud. someone being "loud" and "condescending" are both matters of opinion - there is no factual or absolute basis to make a determination. in fact the only basis you have to make a determination IS the opinion of the listeners - and therefore, its strictly illogical to argue the opposite, when presented with a unanimous opinion from the listeners.
