Also, this isn't the only thing he has on his plate ...

To say that there is nothing to be improved upon in this game is outlandish. For a developer (who I am assuming is said Seble (yes I'm a newb here)) to go on a year long hiatus is a bit absurd. Perhaps there should be some other people that are part of a development team that could design things which he would have to personally approve if this game is solely his making.

I will agree, though. A game that is still active and enjoyable after a developer leaves for a year is quite impressive and makes for great profit margins.

Seble also works on other games on the site as the staff at WIS is laughably small.

Remember also that WIS got bought out. Priorities change,, but expect to see some changes this calender year.

I have been really critical of the job process (which needs significant attention) and the communication deficit but I agree: the game is pretty solid as it is. Could use a tweak or two but check out what has happened with GD and its new engine. Sometimes it's good when prayers go unanswered. Seble's pros way outweigh these issues.

Also have a feeling that if there were large changes half the people demanding large changes would then complain vociferously about the changes ... Like they did last time.

It's a great game.  Look at the other thread.  For the most part, the things we want are improvements, not fixes.  I like improvements as much as the next guy, but come on.

What do you mean by "but come on"? It should be expected that consumers demand improvement when there is opportunity. Just because something is already good does not mean it should stop looking for ways to improve. To suggest that complacency is the way to go is ludicrous.

Maybe there is a large group of people that have been playing this game for a long time that don't want the change, but in the end it's for the better. Not wanting change is like old people that refuse to adjust to new technology.

If improvements were made and there was a significant marketing push, perhaps there would be less than 200+ jobs available at DIII in every single world. I could come up with countless ways to improve this game, but think they would be shot down by every seasoned and stubborn member or go unheard by any type of developer  or administrator.

Better marketing is needed way more than significant improvements

i know there are a ton of cosmetic things that would add more of a surreal experience to the game play, like updating and introducing the ally-op, or the monster slam or the cross over pull up "j". Little things that would improve the experience. Not much to ask. A year with no communication is still unacceptable in my book.

By offering specific ideas for improvement, with some consensus amongst the coaches, instead of just complaining about the lack of change then we might not only inspire the admins to make some changes but get get meaningful ones at that.

Touche. I will compile a list of things that I think we be good improvements in the next day or two. One reason I have not yet is that I have noticed that some members tend to slam ideas rather than discussing, adjusting, and improving them.
