etta, noone has time to review all your games and decipher what you're learned about this game...geez. To assume that we'd even WANT to do that is the epitomy of arrogance.  Yet, if we post helpful tidbits about the game, and they just happens to fall within your realm of knowledge, you feel insulted that we didn't already know it.

So, what you want is: 1) for us to read your play-by-plays
                                        2) make notes of what you've learned
                                        3) answer your questions, being careful not to tread on your sensitivites by mentioning something you already know.

Is that about it?
etta, you have a tendency to ignore some interesting observations.
Just because I didn't reply doesn't mean I didn't find it interesting. Though in this case, it is completely uninteresting and unhelpful.

I said from the start I was going to be reporting people for any insults or ad hominem attacks on me. I'm not going to be drawn into a situation to give the admins opportunity to give preferential treatment to veterans and exact asymmetric punishment on me like they did before.
And yet you haven't reported yourself? How curious.
Hey etta, do you remember when you threatened two other users with violence in personal messages and then offered an open invitation to fight anybody at the airport in Minneapolis???
OK well first you have that completely wrong.

Second, the previous thread was addressed by admin and deleted. Not sure why you think there's value in bringing it back.
lulz....I bet the vast majority of those that read your lengthy papertrails would have a different opinion about who is "completely wrong".

It's important because through all that nonsense of that thread I can't remember you ever being reported, despite your staggering propensity to report others, and yet you're still the one that had to serve a ban. And somehow, after all of that, you're acting like you're the one that needs special protection from other users...so now you hide behind the report button with an even stronger and more messed-up justification of having somehow been victimized.

The value in bringing it back up is that every time you report somebody or act like you're being unfairly treated or bullied or whatever, I'm gonna be right here reminding everybody of the times you've tried to unfairly report, bully, and intimidate others...so we can all remember who it is we are really dealing with.

So in other words you're intentionally trying to start a fight.

Good info to have if I have to go to the admin because of it at some point.
Nope, not trying to start a fight, no other words or interpretations are needed. My point is clear enough and can stand on it's own.

On a side note: It's honestly quite amazing, even in the direct response to my comments, this warped form of justification just oozes through...interpreting my statement as a threat - so that in the future you can use it to have the admins intervene on your behalf. If it's a roll being played to gain undue support then it's whatever, but if it happens to be for real, all I can say is that it's a touch creepy.

Etta-instead of "scoring droughts," have you looked at your points per possession and compared your team to others? The reason I ask is you run slowdown (which is the correct thing to do in Marietta's case) so your possessions are going to take longer, possibly inflating the time between possessions.

7:16 left in the second half of my first exhibition game with Worcester st I'm winning 49-45

Final score.......I lost 56-51. And I have a MUCH better team than your team, but then I've been there a while. **** happens and it sucks when it happens

That's actually a huge part of it. That team isn't any good, and bad teams are going to be more prone to scoring droughts than good ones.

There is a lot of entertainment value in these threads, if you read them from the right perspective

Is Etta a retired principal? I think i had a run in like this a couple years ago.

I honestly can't believe his threads go on and on like this...what's the last relevant thing he said, on page 4 of the one that got deleted?  I just don't get why you guys waste your time, he doesn't like the game, he won't ever like the game, every company has THAT customer.

I'll be sure to bump that thread, to remind everyone of what great threads actually look like

Perhaps somewhat. But you're still talking about several empty trips in succession there on a consistent basis.

It's the droughts that are killing us, and I think if we ran a faster tempo the other team would just have more chances to score during those droughts.

If it was just a few times in the season I would feel the same way.

But it's every single game. Maybe I'm doing something wrong as a coach. Maybe my team is just terrible but if that's the case I wish they would be more consistently terrible and not give me false hope! :) I feel like playing competitively often for 30-35 min in a game suggests that they weren't just overmatched all the time, though.
