In the interest of full disclosure, it's worth pointing out that I have on numerous occasions in the past made comments regarding other users that certain could have merited a warning under the FPG/TOS for forum use. Maybe or maybe not in the HD forums, but certainly in the MLB forums and the political discussions in the Non-Sports General Forum. I have also been called a number of things myself - things likely including "arrogant" and "clueless" as well as much harsher terms, many of which involved plenty of profanity. Support has handled the influx of complaints poorly, to say the least. But a great deal of blame also goes to all the users who decided to start reporting things to support in the first place, particularly things that didn't come close to crossing the line of what's generally viewed as acceptable by the forum users in general. If I threaten your person or your family, report that. Definitely. If I throw a few incredibly innocuous criticisms of your personality, relatively speaking, you don't report that. I don't blame ee so much for this since he'd already been reported in the past. I don't really know the circumstances surrounding that, or whether it was truly warranted. It was certainly out of character. Typically we deal with people by some combination of browbeating and ignoring them, depending on the user and sometimes by turns.
