Is it possible to make the jump from a D3 school to a D2 school with C or C- prestige after just one season?

Sure.  It doesn't take all that much success to be eligible for the highest prestige openings at D2 after just one season at D3.

Unless something has changed, you'll have your pick of DII jobs available to you, presumably with better than C prestige, at the end of your first DIII season. ,

I may have asked something like this once, but forgot the answer...
Can you jump from D3 to D1 after a few seasons, say if the D1 team has D-minus prestige?

I did it aloooooong time ago in Allen, won DIII NT in season 10 after a loss in the title game season 9.Got Iona at D prestige from DIII Tex.Lutherin.Not sure if it still can happen.

I cant do it with an A-

You can do it but you needs something like:

300 career wins 

or

a trip to the Final Four

I don't think you can do it in only one season but I think you can do it in two if you win the NT.
