BTW, I gave him a thumbs up after he made a great play, he gave me a big smile - I really think he'll be playing for us next year.
I sat next to his uncle at the game and I got the impression that we have a great shot to sign this kid. I think his exact were words were 'you have a great shot to sign this kid'.
Those sure sound a hell of a lot like a recruit who has already dropped. Have you called his coach lately?
These 2 messages, along with "Overall, I think a DII school would be lucky to get him, otherwise he'll probably thrive in a low Division I program" are what have had me confused here. Aren't these messages you get when you send a ST (listed at the bottom, after the 4 evals)? Do these messages even mean anything? I've always thought they were window dressing, just like "he has the potential to be a D2 All-American when it's all said and done."
Basically, I don't think these are messages you get when you send a coach or player phone call...but maybe I'm wrong?
