"Sky's The Limit" dropping to normal? Topic

I got the "sky's the limit" potential for a player's LP rating. But he's dropped from high potential to average after only an eight point improvent. So it looks like he'll end up with less than a 20 point improvement. Does anyone else think that is too low for an "STL" scouting report? I honestly would not have signed him if I had known that was all he'd improve.

If he just changed over to average potential, he has 20-21 points of improvement left so he'll get 28-29 total, not less than 20.

So the upper limits of average potential is 20? I thought it was around 10.

I'm curious to see the potential limits for average high and low again, i lost the forum and can't remember where someone posted it.

Low potential is 0 to 6, Average is 7 to 20, High is 21+ (with High High being 28+).  This is why you'll never see a freshman start with blue potential 80 or higher or average potential 94 or higher.

Since you've increased by 8 points from the time you signed him to before it turned to black, that means that your recruit started out with the lowest possible high-high potential of 28.

Sky's the Limit" just means High-High for LP.  Meaning he's going to gain a minimum of 27-28 points.  Same as anything else that's high-high.  I know it sounds more exciting, but that's the standard message for high-high low post and although lp is more likely that other ratings to get extreme gains, the message doesnt mean any more than other messages.

this is correct

edit: so are buddah and dan's posts above mine. high-high starts at 28 not 27 though, to be picky about it ;) high/high lp (or per) is worth more to some people, because the expectation on a high/high for lp/per are higher (you get more points on average). but it is still just a high/high, so all it means is 28+ points of improvement.
