I posted a few days back about my injured, unable to play player who was (I thought) mysteriously maxing out in statistics while being too injured to play. After the second attribute maxed out during his mandated 6 day vacation, I sent a ticket to inquire about it. Today, I received this interesting reply...maybe it's common knowledge to some but it was news to me:
"There is actually no set trigger point to get those emails. Basically, each day it looks at the entire pool of players that are close to their max and then picks a small subset to send emails. So getting an email doesn't necessarily mean that he just recently got to that point."
I found this to be very interesting. I had always assumed the emails came at a set time when a player got withing 'x' of his cap. From this response, it would appear that the player could possibly have maxed several days/games prior to receiving the emails, meaning practice minutes could have been allocated sooner into other stat categories.
And, I guess, to be clear on the injury thing, it was reaffirmed for me that players who are too injured to play do not practice while recuperating.
Like I said, maybe others knew this, but for me the bit about the emails was news.
