In smith the NT for D1 the 1-2-3-4 seeds all advanced to the sweet sixteen. Some upsets in the round of 64 but after the round of 32 the top 4 seeds prevailed in all regions... Has this ever happened in RL?

3/4 regions are 1-4, one has 1/4/6/7 though.

Since the NCAA espanded to 64 teams 30 years ago, the 2007 tournament had the fewest upsets.
The Sweet 16 consisted of:
1, 3, 5, 7
1, 2,3, 4
1, 2, 5, 6
1, 2, 3, 5

#2 seed Wisconsin lost to UNLV
#3 seed Washington State, lost to Vanderbilt in 2OT
The #4 seeds who lost were Maryland (to Butler); Texas (to USC); and Virginia (to Tennessee)

Only twice, in 1995 and 2007, has there not been a double-digit seed in the Sweet 16

The most double-digit seeds happened in 1999, when #10 Gonzaga, #10 Miami (OH); #10 Purdue; #12 Oklahoma and #13 SW Missouri made it

Interestingly, only 4 times (1994, 2000, 2007, and 2009) have all of  the top 16 seeded teams even advanced to the SECOND round
