I have a theory that the complaints are triggered whenever their start totals drop below X% during the regular season. In the end 21 of 26 starts in the regular season seems to do the trick, but 20 of 26 would not . My guess at this point is 80% < X < 83.3%. My understanding is that all trace of "personalities" have been stripped from the game, but I do not know if it is absolutely consistent from player to player within that range.
This is almost exactly my observation as well ... somewhere in the lower 80% range is the minutes and starts cut off point.
So my rull of thumb is .. if I promise a start and minutes, I shoot for 21 games and the actual promised minutes in those 21 games. So, if I promise 20 minutes and a start I need to hit:
21 starts at 20 minutes = 420 minutes ... expected is 20x26 = 520 .. and 420/520 = 80.8%
and of course 21 starts which is 21/26 = 80.8%
I also try to pick some games I can set the guy to "Foul trouble Only" early in the season. Every game I can play the guy at close to 40 Mins takes away minutes from the 420 total.
To be on the safe side, 22 and 440 minutes would almost always work at 84.6%
