Does my Dist. Have to total 100% ? And let's say at the moment it goals 72. Does this matter? I understand the basic concept of Dist but I remember reading somewhere (unless I'm imagining this) that the rest is split between all the players if it doesn't total 100? Help please.

No. That's not true. A lot of guys use 3,2,1 combo. Mine usually add up to 50 and the rest is not split up between rest of players

Best option gets a 3 in distro, 2nd best guy gets a 2, third best gets a 1, everyone else gets zero......You can also do 30,20,10 and then all 1's.

It's based on percentages. If you 5 players on the court are set at  5, 2, 1,1,1(total of 10),     the top guy will get approximately 50% of the touches.    In a 3 -3-2-1-1 setup, your top guys will each get 30%

 Personally, I use the 100% scale, but I don't always use the entire amount.

Proportion of plays = players distro/(sum of distro by players on the floor)
