I know this is stressed a lot in the forums but the job changing needs to be fixed. I see lots of complaining with all these good coaches who can't make it to a low top 6 school. While to make it to d2 you've just gotta play the first season basically I went 17-11 my first season 160 rpi and qualified for almost all d2 jobs including the a+ prestiged schools?

I don't know about the accuracy of good coaches not being able to make a low Big 6 school. Seems everyone I see complaining about it has a very short career and/or thinks two seasons of winning a CT in an empty conference entitles them to move up.

there is a big difference between any D2 school and a BCS bottom feeder...

The threshold for qualifying for any Div-1 school has just gone up apparently.   3 NT's in 5 seasons is not enough.

My former conference-mate at Le Moyne in the Crum N-10 has made 3 NT's in the past 5 seasons, yet he didn't qualify for any Div-1 jobs last night.   We're not talking Big Six schools... we're talking not qualifying for Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac.

I made 3 NT's in 4 seasons and I did qualify the previous off-season.   I had thought that was the minimum, but apparently not.

For any new HD owners who have plans on coaching in Div-1, my advice is to jump into Div-2 in your second season, otherwise it will be a 2 Earth-year commitment for you.

At least dolphins are a resourceful-type animal, something to represent. I coach the Erskine Flying Fleet. How does one represent the Flying Feet?

I would imagine somewhere, probably in South America, there are gangsters who cut off their enemies' feet, and throw the feet into dumpsters, or into the ocean. Those are technically flying feet... probaby not an image you want to promote to your fanbase, though.

Well, while this is something that would definitely evoke fear in our opponents -- especially at home -- you're right. And it would be tough to get jerserys with severed feet on them by the AD.

And also, it's Fleet. Stupid type-o. But I like your description anyway.
