Updates doesn't matter at this point Topic

  • Are there plans to address other areas of the game that really need attention first - specifically the jobs process? This seems to be a giant sweeping change to a significant part of the game to fix a problem that really only affects around 120 or so of the 980+ schools in HD. (baseballer77 - Hall of Famer - 3:02 PM)

No plans to address the job process in this update. To clarify, this recruiting update wasn't initiated just to fix the imbalance at DI. I've always felt that recruiting could be much more fun and engaging, less stressful, and less frustrating than the current system.

YOU HAVE TO BE INSANE I'm pretty sure that is like everyone's #1 or #2 thing they want fixed.... if not then its the people who don't want to lose some D1 school where they haven't made the NT in like 8 seasons and deserve to be kicked out onto the street and coach D3 teams to a 1st round bid.

and yes I assume Seble hates me by now and a lot of other people as well)

So I'm never going to get a Big 6 job.  And it doesn't matter because I would have to waste one season there with a **** roster in the first place....  but hey I might get to recruit the ****** left over prospects in the 2nd recruiting period.... yay! /s

Might as well drop back down to D3 in worlds I'm trying to get to D1, seble just wants the process to remain even longer and harder......

D2 and D3 will be not nearly as interesting either with no post season cash.  It will be one big level playing field since there is no prestige value at D2 and D3.

obviously it's not going to be fixed in this update. this update is big enough as is.

it absolutely should be fixed in another update, and I'm fine bugging seble about that, but trying to sneak an unrelated change into the recruiting update doesn't make any sense

Don't worry a recruit will have a prefernce to play in a strong conference, you just have to hope it's not one of thos ****** unrealistic 10 ath 13 def guys that likes that otherwise you have no better chance of getting him than 11 sim conference-mate Joe...

just prefacing I'm obviously just venting everything I don't like in a very reactionary manner.

But I mean is job process not a top 3 desire for those not already at big 6 jobs who don't care since they are where they want to be....  and those that don't want to be fired

LOL what reasons are there to be in a strong conference besides post season cash
9/17/2015 3:27 PM
Yeh its more fun than playing 11 sims.  But when those guys playing 11 sims are at a huge adv since they don't have to battle with conference mates for recruits it's going to be more fun to be in an empty conference and win...

NO PRESTIGE UPDATES WTF.... YOU ARENT FIXING ANYTHING YOUR JUST SHITTING ON BIGGER SCHOOLS AND HOPING THE LOWER SCHOOLS CAN "RECRUIT WELL" ENOUGH TO COMPETE.....

Im still going to play the damn game I just won't enjoy it even half as much...

yeah, I don't think he gets IT at all.  Pretty disappointing comments by WIS so far.  if conference prestige doesn't matter and no post season cash - the incentive is to be AS FAR APART AS POSSIBLE.

Also, not being able to see who is recruiting who is a horrible idea.  I HATE a blind bidding.  I played FC Dynasty for awhile, and it was horribly uninteresting - in part to the blind 'battles".

I submitted a clarifying point on this subject. We'll see if he gets to it.

So I will only know who is recruiting who based on who my targets are considering, or will I not be even able to see who I am battling and i cannot check how many spots they have open etc..

Please tell me its not like the 2nd one that couldn't be any worse of an idea.

I totally agree that the job process is dumb. I am still a relative newbie to D1 (I have one low-baseline Big 6 team and three mid-majors), and it has immediately become my biggest complaint about the game seeing how it works. And I would still love for a change. And I really hope seble will hear our calls for change. But at best, it's next on the line after the recruiting update
