This guy i have is 765 with at least 40 points left of improvement if he could finish out so that would break 800. It's a shame I only got him at a junior because I could have seen him improve all of the way if I had had him, he improved 200 points in two years. I'm wondering what the highest player anyone has ever had at the D3 level.

Upper 700's are really really high, I know there has been a few 800's, but are really really rare, I've only seen 1 myself from when I asked this question, I'll check if I can find my thread

that guy is really not that great, overall is inflated by the bottom ratings. the guy's 2pt abilities and 3pt abilities are not really impressive. hes good, ofc, but i dont look at that guy at 16ppg and think they are out of line at all...

Hey, I recruited that guy! But I left that team after his freshman season so all his starts were from the guy that took the team over from me. It was a shame too, because I left that team with some real strong players. I don't think that guy was in the top ten of the players I recruited there. I don't think he was an elite scorer but mid 80s perimeter and 50s low post to go with mid 60s ath is pretty damn good at DIII.

Check out the scoring this guy doesn't at DIII. Can you believe he plays PG on the 2nd ranked team! He plays PG! And he scores a ton!

might not have come across right, hes a great player for sure. i really was just getting at that just because his ratings are high doesn't mean his offensive ability is, that hes not really an elite scorer. was trying to post about abilities being more important than ratings, didn't mean to knock the player :) i'd be happy to have him for sure.

No worries, Gillispie.  I didnt take it as you were knocking the player.  I agree he isnt nearly as good as his overall ratings might suggest
