So this is Christmas, and a happy new year...

I like the game the way it is.

Some D1 job logic fixed, but some D2 and D3 too, I hate seeing somebody get a better gig at D2 while they spent a bad season going .500 at D3...

Some logic to the recruit generation fixed, make the D1 a bit more competitive by lessening conference tourney cash and edge on reputation letters Make the 50 best players all recruitable from everywhere...

And then ADVERTISE and it's all good.

GIve us a bit more coaching options, like who takes the last shot, etc.

im not excited for the new updates either, it just means the longer unitl WIS starts to consider the job process, post season cash at D1, and how prestige is calculated.

Which is really all that needs fixing, Recruit generation would be great and make this nearly perfect, but I have lost faith of WIS doing anything right so all we are going to get is some ****** update that causes a max exodus and then nothing but radio silence for another 4 years.

This has been going on for years.

145 days from the first appearance of seble(4 months 23 days)

69 days since the last "post" from seble...(2 months 8 days)

current odds: at least 4 months for another "quick update" then 1 year until a beta is announced.  Beta started 1.5 years.  Beta ends after 6 months.  Everyone hates it, no changes made.  Hiring/firings ignored.  No changes to D1.  Seble goes into witness protection program.

it was clear up front he was taking on too much. if he was ready for beta now, i'd be SHOCKED (unless it was some ungodly hack job). your timeline doesn't sound too different than what i suggested up front - except that the beta will probably be closer to a month, to make up for how behind they are on the project :(

my pipe dream all along has been that after a few months, maybe 6 months, he'd realize how much he took on, and would cut back significantly, so he could get something done. maybe he isn't posting now because he has realized, and is either fighting through the later stages of denial, or is in the early stages of acceptance, where hes still not ready to open up about it yet? yeah... i know its a pipe dream, but we've got like, at least a 1% chance! lets go hail mary!

What is the employee structure at WIS? Who's in charge? How how many people they got? What's the deal?

Fine with me. If Sable doesn't make an appearance this year I'll be happy.

Or he can come to his senses and fix the DI problems people have been asking him to fix forever and leave the rest of the game alone.

Yes, this.  What if (pun most definitely intended) a coach CAN'T start recruiting from the first cycle due to some issue like, say, the real world?  Do they just have to sit out that year's recruiting Willow?  If not, what is YOUR solution for a coach who doesn't make all his recruiting targets known from day one, cycle one?  YOU'RE the one ******** and moaning about not recruiting right from the start, so let's hear YOUR solution.

He sure acts like he believes in the idea that recruiting is all about first dibs, doesn't he?

I'm in CIS in college currently and one of the biggest things that i have learned is that sometimes it is easier to completely start over then attempt to make a single change such as changing the job logic.  While I'm not entirely thrilled at this new HD that seble is promising, the fact that it will be all his programming will make it significantly easier for him to make changes in the future

All I care about is changing the shot clock.
