So the 1000 mile rule allows alts of the same coach to control another team in the same world. I left out the non BCS schools, and only spent about 5 minutes on this, but can anyone come up with more than 5 BCS schools that one coach could theoretically coach simultaneously? Remember too that no coach can control more than one team per conference, regardless of distance...

My 5 were:

• Stanford
• Illinois
• Miami
• Texas Tech
• Providence

all these are over 1000 miles from any of the others...

The Longhorns could sub in for the Raiders as well...

...and probably half the Big 10 and most of the PAC could sub for Illinois and Stanford I guess - not going to check anymore of these as it seems likely there are probably 1000s of possible permutations...

keeping it to one per conference:
BigEast - Providence
ACC - Miami
Big Ten - Minnesota
Big 12 - Texas
Pac 10 - Hawaii
plus toss in a couple more if you need 7
WAC - Gonzaga
Mountain - San Diego State

No matter what I do, I am about 30 miles short of being able to get all of the Big 6 involved

yeah, I don't think it's possible...by using Hawaii you can take the PAC 10 out and they aren't a problem...but I can't find a way for the SEC and ACC both to co-exist...

but then the problem becomes the Big 12....I guess...

And the big 10 is an issue if you use Arky

yep. Every Big 12 team is within Arkansas' 1000 mile radius. You can get the SEC and ACC to play together, but not without sacrificing the Big Ten, Big 12, or Big East (if you use, for instance, Florida and Boston College)

I can't find a map of the schools that works...any help?
