Brauer was on my most underachieving team. He was in a 3 Sr. Class and the other two were pretty good players and we had a decent group of JRs. Our SOS: 38; We went 30-1 that season getting beat by an always dangerous shaf squad at Elmira and that one hurt. I remember upping Brauer's distro as the season progressed because I saw no drop in production, but cannot remember the percentage.

Yeah that guy deserved a better team around him. It's hard to make a deep run with only 3 seniors, no matter how good those seniors are. SOS wasn't bad, but it looks like you played against mostly sims in conference play. How did Brauer perform against top competition? I would love to see him go up against competition in the UAA Naismith or any of the other elite conferences. I'd be very curious to see if that efficiency would hold up.

With my Linfield team I try and schedule the toughest out of conference schedule because I know my conference is not the greatest (thats how we have top 50 SOS). Like you said we only had 5 human coached teams and the 6th had just left that season and Brauer averaged 31 PPG in conference, so not a huge jump from out of conference.

He would be successful in any conference, but obviously would not be as efficient in the UAA as I know how tough it is from my Wisconsin Lutheran team (which did beat you the last time you won a NC in season 80 in an exhibition game ;) I think my record is like 2-7 vs the UAA and 8-1 vs every other conference in the NT with 4 of those losses coming to the champ. As you can tell I have very good luck running into one of you guys every season.

So, he was definitely still a stud against top competition. Amazing player for sure.

I remember that game. Glad it was just an exhibition! It's also pretty much impossible to avoid running into the UAA if you make any sort of run in the NT. We are all over the place as you know. ;)

I dont know if anyone has brought this guy up, but i like his combination of defense and shooting. he didnt perform at the same level as the other guys on this thread, but his ratings are nice

This is the most decorated player I've had in a long history at Hanover. Left as our school's all-time leading scorer, top 5 in FG%, and top 10 in rebounding, blocks, and steals.

I don't know about the other guys, but I would take him as the new PF on the all time list.

Ronny Smoak Mississippi college is a guy I inherited as a sim recruit his junior year I had little other scoring and he shot well enough even against constant double teams to feed him a lot. Remember he is a sim guy. Weak defense, with decent steals though. Should finish top ten all time scoring in world. Career high of 52. Only maxed out at A in off/def with one regular season game remaining.

Scheduling for one of my teams I came across this guy: https://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/RatingsHistory.aspx?tid=8377&pid=3214005

He was a JuCo but still a very solid player. I dont know where he would fit among the great G's we already have, but hes up there.
4/4/2016 3:52 PM
Robert Hodge can come in as a scorer of the bench. I'd have to find his exact ratings but he was in the 90s in Speed and BH and 100 in PER. I never let guys completely loose so if someone scores over 2000 points for me he must be good. Should've led a 4 peat...

Edit: 92 Speed, 95 BH, 100 PER, 61/60 ATH/DEF 88 Stamina. DIII Steph Curry.
4/4/2016 4:09 PM (edited)
I thought John Friedlander might get into all-time great D3 PG territory, but he just dropped to average potential in PER. Too bad. His passing is still high, his DEF would cap out at 100 if he gets there. Speed and BH both have about 10 points to go, and stamina cap of 97 is nice.

This is a cool thread and even though I've had some great players I wouldn't start any of them over those guys. Here is probably the best starting 5 I personally can come up with for my self.

PG was probably the hardest to pick just because I've had 4-5 here at Franklin with basically the same #'s though while elite d3 guys they're nothing like what's on the list
I like the looks of my bench down low & on the per too.
It would be pretty cool to see WIS come up with a tournament every human year (6-12 HD seasons depending if they're 1x or 2x) for coaches to play their best all-time12 against one another...that way your 12 man roster could possibly change the next go around.

I think this guy tcole recruited at PBAU in Smith might become the new starting all time D3 center

Gerald Higgins

81 ath 54 spd 94 reb 91 def 58 sb 92 lp 19 bh 14 pas 91 sta C- FT

a little light sb, but elite ath/spd/reb/def/lp/sta

I know we weren't using stats, but I have him scoring 30.5 ppg on 55.8% shooting and 9.4 reb/gm
