Got this email today. This is great, I'm happy they are doing it, and we should all get ready to provide advice and convince people to stay.

1. What award did HD win?
2. Besides for the bad timing if they claim they are about to make updates, which there isn't much you can do about, this is bad timing because any new user just missed out on at least 3 different worlds that just had signups. Now any new user will have to wait a week for their first chance to do anything in this game.
Not saying it to complain about this as a whole, but would have wished they did this as soon as the tournament started.

I couldn't join through my computer probably should've done it last second with my phone but didn't think about it. :(

So basically WIS is the 25 year old at the high school party bragging about the time they scored a touchdown in a high school football scrimmage.

Unless we are talking about the annual "literally comcast/hitler" award for greatest company, I award to them in a unanimous landslide.

WIS in 2005, which was probably just game simulations of teams from different eras and maybe sim leagues was a great site. But now some of these games are very poorly run.
I tried asking in the last developer chat if HD (separate from WIS) was profitable, obviously didn't get answered.

Ah nice, a free season. This is a great idea. Not sure how many people do their bracket challenge on Fox but still nice to see something going on.

Well I came in 16822nd place with UNC as the champion in the Fox bracket, so I'd assume I was in the top 50%. That's a decent number of people.

Damn that is a good amount. But pretty easy advertising to do. They need to keep it up!

is this the usual no access to FSS free hd season unless you pay for a new season without really getting to try the game first? They have to do that to keep people from cheating I guess, but it diminishes the recruiting value of the free season i think

Agreed seeing as recruiting is pointless at d3 without FSS.

When you first come into HD, there is a lot to understand.
Not having FSS is not the end of the world. It's a free season for cryin out loud. So you get 90% of the D3 package. Big deal.
Far from "pointless". They do something to help and your not happy?

I didn't even understand what FSS was or how to use it my first season.

Well, my conference in Allen {CUNY} went from 2 people to 12..only one new guy with experience (so 9 newbies or alt profile guys)

264 human coaches in Allen D3 this season.
