My rpi at a **** school like New Mexico St is 49.

Why shouldn't I qualify for a 119 rpi Indiana job?
The wya the job process works

Because Indiana has an A- baseline and is B prestige

You are at New Mexico State I believe D- baseline and only B- prestige

Theres some number you have to reach to qualify computed of NT wins, seasons coached etc, generally you always have to be above if not way far above the prestige of the school you are applying to.

However just looking at the rpi for 1 year doesn't matter and is a weak argument. And 49 isn't honestly impressive.
, ideally yes you should qualify for Indiana in real life imo. or at least be allowed to apply and get the job if no one else applies with a better resume.

But I'm on your side a job process overhaul should be done where you would be qualified for Indiana based on your past 10 seasons and get it.

Regardless you can now use #makeHDgreatagain! since you hate the stupid job process.

indiana is a high baseline job. i think you've done a good job at new mexico, don't get me wrong - we just see a little differently i guess in terms of what it should take to get a job like that, i think thats a really good job to move to from a mid major. seems like any better job than that, would almost have to come from a BCS school (or a hugely successful mid major, for this games' standards), so i basically view the move you are making a top tier move for a mid major. i don't think we'll ever agree on exactly where to draw the line - its just a personal preference. i don't feel we are too far apart though, i wouldn't think it was unreasonable to draw it where you do, and let the best resume win. but i definitely agree where WIS draws it is too harsh!
