When I search by State Wisconsin has zero D1 players, Kansas has 2 and Iowa has 1..... this has to be an error correct? I know that in 3.0 the recruiting isn't solely based on distance but this is ridiculous.

After further review there are significantly less recruits in all the states than I have ever seen. I will be sending a ticket, this seems odd.

Recruits are now hidden except for the Top 100. If you go under Recruiting/Scouting/Scouting Service, it will give you the total of "D1" recruits for each state. In order to see all those, the simplest thing to do is to pay the scouting service fee for the state you are interested in seeing. That will "discover" those recruits for you...in that state...at that division assignment. After that, you will be able to search them in your Recruit Pool.

You can also sign up for the camps at this point. They take a few days before they run, but the Scouting Service is the surest way to "discover".

Took my first crack at scouting in Knight and at first glance it seems like the learning curve for new players in 3.0 is going to be a lot greater. For myself, the information and actions you take in scouting is a bit overwhelming. Thankfully, I had the flip book scouting guide to assist me along the way, but I'm not even sure if I've narrowed my scouting list down to the right recruits. Probably shouldn't have moved up to DI this past off-season and stayed were I had success. lol I look forward to play some games and I'm intrigued with how recruiting will go.

Yes. If you look on each recruit, there is a section called categories. There are 4 colors and a circle with a line through it (uncategorised).

You can make assignments to a color either from the recruit themselves .. or from any recruit pool page by clicking on the circle with a line through it on the left side of the recruits name.

If you look at the recruit pool search page, you can filter on any of the categories.
