Some guy in my conference just took over a team that had 6 walkons and 6 graduating seniors.  He has yet to have a guy considering him with three cycles until signings.  If he has 12 walkons, that will be the worst team in HD history.

Which is totally worth keeping an eye on.  Here is Washington and Lee.

That is weird, I never noticed sims taking walkons before....at least not more than 1.

I'm guessing this is the result of all the ghost ship teams that came with the last free HD promo...

Did he post in the CC or, any clue that he's still alive?  If he hasn't spent any money at all, his asst. coach will sign 5 guys, right?  They'll suck too, but probably be around the 380 level instead of 260 rated walkons.  He'll still go winless, but it won't be as much fun to watch.

If we're lucky enough, he's spent money and gets 12.  If that happens, we need an RSS feed of his game results.

I have not followed it, but sim ai use to re-recruit before signings to fill 'ships. I'm not sure if this is happening or not. Should be interesting to see if this is the case, but I noticed that sim isn't recruiting the way they use to.

so washington and lee now has no players....

IF a ship in conference has gone completely ghost ship, try submitting a ticket:  We did with ECSU, and they moved the rest of their unused seasons from someone's ten pack to their general account so the team could go back to the SIMAI recruiting

This, I'm pretty sure.   But there ARE a surprising number of 3- and 4-walkon Sims.

Yup, I noticed it starting in wooden. This wasn't an issue in Iba. It is rare to find more then 2 walk ons on sim ai there, and a good amount have all the ships filled. Although rupp isn't filled, I noticed that teams with 6+ open 'ships won't even sign more then 3 recruits. Some with 3 or more open ships have ZERO players considering them.

Correct.  They do now have 4 guys considering them...could that be asst coaches at work?  These aren't exactly drop down quality players that a team with that many open spots would be holding off on to sign.

Lynchburg, in the same conference, is the one that ****** me off.  They got 2 walkons last year and then gave them scholarships.  This year there's 4 or 5 open spots and they have 0 recruits considering them.

Not sure if he spent money but Washington and Lee signed 10.

  Signed 10, but can only Offer 6 Scholarships.  SO only 'picked' 6.  Now, will Considering Us guys that don't get picked up by Other Teams by Signing Day come to you as Walk Ons?  If so, he may well have 'picked' his 10, but the last 4 would probably be pretty bad if no one else in all of D-III went for them (unless they didn't check his Scholarships and the Considering Others scared them away).
