Just a side note, a player on my team is the 8th leading scorer in D3 and was 3rd team all conference. Just thought that was interesting.

Do they take team pestige into consideration when picking all-americans?  I was kind of surprised that my starting C didn't get at least honorable mention AA given the season he had. 

It ain't just All Conference, All American sucks too...

Which player below was first team All-American and which failed to even receive an honorable mention?
I know its window dressing, and there are engine issues, but it needs to be fixed, hopefully sooner than later...

Agreed.

Rucker also lead the Nation in scoring on a very good team all year. Sorry, the stats AND team play all turn to Rucker.

only thing i can find in howe's favor is vmi is ranked 15, coastal carolina 19. howe even scored 0 pts on the road against CC in their first meeting.

maybe there's a bit of a random factor? i can't find anything else.

Non sequitur, but what about the rankings was supposed to be better?  UVA dropped three spots in the middle of the tournament from 1-4 despite not losing.  Oh, and one of the teams that jumped them lost last night.

just stats, 5% shooting is huge

Our All-Conference player of the year/defender of the year doesn't even make honorable mention AA, yet my first team conference guy made the AA team in DI Allen.  I'm just bitter though.

They definitely have different criteria for conference awards and national awards.  I don't know what they are, but I was told that after I inquired about winning NCOY but not CCOY.

Well, I lost both CCOY and NCOY to the same guy, and he's in my conference, so I'm just sour.  Agreed that there surely must be different criteria though.
