Allblack, I think 20 is fine...but I think we're too close to that 40 number, and I'm worried about that...but maybe not.  Have to let things sit for a while for me to figure it out.

Interesting case study, a D prestige team (Troy) has made it to the D1 sweet 16 in allen using fastbreak and press.

1) Uniform Numbers for the players
2) Contracts with sporting goods companies for the head coach
3) Attendance figures in the boxscore
4) Local cable, regional, or national TV listings by conference/team
5) Recruiting budget for band and pep squad members to increase HCA
6) Written expense reports from AC on scouting trips (especially to Vegas)
7) Video cutscenes of cheerleader halftime shows
8) Doggie bags for carryout after multiple home visits (If I see one more slice of peach cobbler I'm gonna puke)
9) Technical foul calls on the bench and/or head coach
10) Translators for International players so they quit talking like Native Americans from old cowboy movies
Hey man...what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!!

How about a "coach tirade" practice option so that I can take a more active role with my team on the day after they do something like...say...inexplicably drop a 14-point decision to a previously 0-10 team. (*grumble*)  It could randomly either provide a short-term boost to work ethic (kids have a fire lit under their butts now...) or could cause a work ethic crash (I don't want to play for that foaming-at-the-mouth fool...)

My dog and my wife would probably appreciate this...

ooh, could it have a "grab a kid by the throat, you know, just to get his attention" and maybe a "throw a chair across the court" option too?

I would like to see the results of games reflect more on ratings.
Wasn't this one on the old engine's wish list?

How has no one said anything about FTs?

I'd like to see fastbreak and press eliminated as base options.

I'd like to see improved recruits. I feel like the change made in that regard went WAY too far. It's one thing to have some diversity among players, which was needed. But the changes that were made throw small D1 schools under the bus, making it very hard to field anything close to a competitive team. That's horrible for the game. You need a solid low-D1 base to get to a Big 6 school, yet when it's that tough to GET that base, it becomes a catch-22 that needs to be dealt with by those in charge.

Yes, but it wasn't addressed. If it was, it's not very noticeable.

free throws... not just quantity, but who gets them. i don't expect a or better iq super high quality guards to get in foul trouble with any sort of regularity, but they are it seems. the foul situation on bigs is generally OK i think, but guards draw too many fouls and too many of them are against guards. how about a smart guard's defense gets a little worse with fouls and propensity to foul goes down?

What I've seen as a disparity was in Conference games where the first time I played someone, lets say I won in OT by 3 points, than the next time I got blownout by like 15 to 20 points by the same team and both of us using the same offensive and defensive scheme, i.e. I was +1 both games, he was -2 both games, and in the 2 games different sets of players scored. In the first game I held his big men to like 2 or 3 points respectively (starters and backups) and the guards scored, and than in the second game the big men went off on me and the guards got no points and like I said, all the settings were the same for both of us, both times.

Before anyone comes back with grammer and english on me, yes I know that's one big run-on sentence.

That scenario happened more than once with a bunch of different teams in my conference (WVIAC). Multple times to me, and multiple times to other coaches.
Court While the disperity might seem random I think you are not accounting for a big factor here. Seeing different players score points is not that odd.

Let's say for example we play once and my 2 guards go off and score 15 points each. Next time we play you are probably expecting more of the same and already played +1 the first time, so I am expecting you to play even more of a perimeter defense. What is to stop me from giving high distro to my big men and little to my guards knowing that you are looking to stop my guards?

I think you made 2 different point, 1 about the huge change in outcome, but to see points scored from different players it not an abnormal thing, especially if you have a good team with several scoring options.

Less injuries or at least shorter recovery times............

this may have been mentioned prior-- maybe an app for smart phones/ droids?

THat is a good point;  when looking between two games you can see the plus minus setting on defense and the pace on offense, but you can't see the distributions and the plus minus settings on three point shooting, so saying that the two games 'had the same settings' might not be entirely accurate.
