That's how much money the Big East just earned in this postseason in Tark. We sent 8 teams to the tourney 7 teams advanced to the 2nd round, 6 to the Sweet 16, 5 to the Elite 8, 2 to the Final 4 and now Syracuse and UCONN are playing for the national title, their 4th matchup of the season. We also had two teams make the PIT, with one getting to the Final 4 and the other losing in the 2nd round. So in total we are getting 52.5k extra per team, has anybody ever seen a conference get more?

That's pretty amazing.

dang

That's disgusting - unless someone gets drafted, Rutgers will be recruiting with $85K... for two spots.

Yup I'm in that same boat cornfused, 2 open ships but 85k to work with. The point you bring up about players getting drafted is the 1 drawback to this type of success we are sure to get hammered by the EE bug.

That's crazy! Should be some interesting battles for sure.

ive got an even better twist... last season i had zero ooen schollies and so got to carry over 100% of my  cash and so went into this season wirth $33K.

i have 5 seniors  and my piece of the aforementioned $630K.

So, $53K plus $33K  plus $75 equals   $161K for  5 openings.

but i also have  several underclassmen  who are prime EE candidates.

if one of them were to go pro that would be another $15k for $176K  to spend on six dudes (or possibly more)

wonder what the records is?

gotta try something

Despite the ridiculous success of the conference we only had 4 players declare early with 2 of those coming from Syracuse. OD will have an absolutely obscene amount of money to recruit, so as a warning nobody battle Syracuse in Tark. Also you probably want to stay away from all BE schools, just lets us get our targets, it will be beneficial to your success as a program, lol.

Despite that, I can't imagine that teams are lining up to battle an A+ team with that much more cash than anyone else.
