Before the apocalypse happened, whoops... Before the engine change happened, the lowest work ethic that I thought was acceptable (for DIII and DII benchers) was right at 30. It was tolerated (though not enjoyed) because typically the combination of some playing time and generally low beginning attributes were enough to produce some okay initial improvements; also, knowing that WE would gradually increase never hurt.
However, now that the world is doomed to eternal darkness... I mean, now that the beloved Wooden is running the new sim, I find things to be a bit different when it comes to underclassmen inprovement. The player in question is a tempermental yet misunderstood PF with a 32 WE that averaged 11.9 minutes per game and has average potential in all attributes except for PE and BH. Despite the playing time and practice distributions that had previously been successful, the largest improvement of any signifance for this specific player was a +3 in ATH.
In my HUMBLE opinion, the previous engine wouldn't produce the underwhelming results of +8 in core attributes and an overall increase of only 19 (which is equal to the number of my fingers and toes combined -- which reminds me, don't immediately put-on a hooded sweatshirt you buy from a merchant in Seoul, South Korea without having thoroughly inspected it first). It is okay if the engine has changed, I just want to be sure so I know how to adjust my recruiting as required.

So, since I'm a man of science, I was wondering if anyone else had come to a similar and/or contrasting opinion after having observed, recorded, retested, and thoroughly analyzed all data available? Plus, don't be too afraid buy anything from street vendors in Seoul, they are very nice people, and I thankfully still have all my little piggy's.
