offseason practice minutes??? Topic

This question might be batshit crazy, and I wish that I didn't care enough to ask, but does the distrobution of practice minutes during the offseason affect the amount of increase/decrease in the corresponding skills? The prevailing wisdom is that the only discernable factors in this situation are player WE and the proximity to being maxed-out in each skill (and possibly a sprinkle of potential).  

I searched over the mountain and through the woods for the answer but couldn't find anything.

practice plan shouldn't affect player improvement in the off season and from what i've read it doesn't.  considering that in real life coaches aren't allowed to hold any sort of practice sessions than it shouldn't in this game either.

TO a degree.  It would be good if you could set "Priorities' - such as saying "Bob. . this summer, I really need you to work on your jumpshot"

Not the same as precisely setting minutes, but be able to set a priority.
