Will some of you veterans take a look at my Illinois College team (D111)  in the Tark league and tell me what I am doing wrong.  This team started out as Preseason #6 and promptly lost to an inferior team.  Reeled off several wins, then lost to what I thought were inferior teams.  Now this afternoon, I lose for the second time to a team that starts guards with BH ratings in the 50's against my guards whose defenseive ratings are 99 and 100.  I decide to run full court press, they have 7 turnovers and I have 14 or 15.  Carroll who beat me again, just lost last night by 25 to a team I beat my nearly 30. 

This has me scratching my head and ready to pull my hair out!

Please oldtimers that are in D1 or D2, what am I doing wrong?

mind you i'm not an old timer, i'm just a lowly d3 national championship coach, but i'd be happy to help.

this lineup will shock you, but it will work.

center - walker, rogers, thomas
pf - mclees, rehm, thomas
sf - edwards, feldman, defeo
sg - poirer, sattler, defeo
pg - fava, edwards, defeo

only thing i might switch is poirer and fava since poirer has the better passing skills, but no matter what i think this lineup will make you a very well balanced team.

you let up 56 pts. Thats pretty good. ur offense sucked (worst outing of the season). forwards attribute for 5 of ur 6 top scorers. He sank in low the first half and stopped you. the second half when he came out a bit more you beat him in the half. He coached well and you didn't shoot them out of their 2-3.

How would you set the disto's with that lineup?  Thanks for your responses!

base it on matchup vs. matchup..........his starters vs. your starters..........your bench vs. his bench..... just look for the mismatches in your favor and pump up the distro.......and when you are clearly at a disadvantage i'd have the distro between 3-6
