umm...maybe Villarreal was late getting there and just plowed into him. I agree that's odd.

Later in the game, Shawn Mathewson tries to tip in his own missed three (2 seconds after he took the shot.)  But this is weirder.

What's the issue here? It's easy to imagine someone being close enough to foul without being able to contest a shot.

This phrasing has been around for awhile (I remember it way back in the old engine).  Didn't make any sense then, really, and doesn't make a whole lot now, but it's really kind of a trivial thing anyway.
