yeah it is BS, my perfect season got ruined in Knight, which I would have cruised to the tourney with at 29-0 no problem I think.  Instead I didn't get to set my defense or doubleteams vs the only decent team in my conf and I lose by 1 in OT.  I stayed up til 510 eastern waiting for them to sim.

sleep..... And I don't even know what time the game was actually going to sim so when do I get up?  I have read if you get up at 130 and set it it may not even take, maybe thats not true? I don't know, but I don't understand why simulations don't just run on time.  

That's not true, matt - setting changes always "take."

The games simmed right around 4:45am CST.. pretty ridiculous.

so basically a ton of people who have to work and can't get to a computer or who want to sleep uninterrupted and have no idea when it'll sim are screwed

i was a little upset earlier, so what the OP should have said was that by not allowing me to set me double teams and +/- i went from probably 85% to win to like 57%, and in this case it cost me the game because my gameplan (as the default) was quite bad and i lost in overtime.

i just wanted to come on and say that is so much fucken horseshit that the games weren't simmed last night in phelan. i had the best team in d3, won my S16 game, and then did not have a chance to gameplan for my E8 game. 

i would have played a -2 and won easily had i been given a chance to gameplan. so, the sim going off 3-4 hours late last night (maybe later? it wasn't done when i went to sleep). cost me a national title. 

it's not a big deal, but i just thought everyone should know that is definitely the case here.

I understand why you're upset and you've got a right to be.  But don't you think it's a little presumptuous to assume in an Elite Eight game that you would have "won easily" and that it "cost you a National Title".  You've been playing HD long enough to know that anything can happen in any given game, but especially in the tourney where teams are much closer in talent.  Just saying.........

I'm confused by this thread.  Did you sleep over 12 hours? 

went to bed at 530 est, read for 30 mins, started storming so dog was shaking and all scared next to me... fell asleep probably around 730... got up at 230... so no not quite 12 hours... not sure where you got 12 hours in the first place.... the game didnt sim til near 6 est , I left the computer a bit after 5
