I often complain about the current engine/model that is setup for HD.  Even though I think the recruit generation is still a bit suspect, I have to hand it to Seble.

It seems the hard caps with players capping by their Soph/Junior seasons has softened.  I am beginning to come around on the current system.  It now seems to payoff to grab guys with work ethic (as it should).  Teams with upperclassmen are winning (which they should). 

In fact, my ONLY true complaints now with HD is the lack of of decent recruits for the lower tier DI schools and baseline prestige still having a little too much impact.

Other than that, we gotta hand it to Seble for listening to us and slowly implementing changes for the better.

I've changed the way I built my team. I often went for just ath/speed and gave up some of the cores/def and WE. Now I am going a little less ath/speed, but more def/cores and WE, Its taken some time to get use to, but the game isn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. Just got to make some adjustments.

IMHO Sable has done a great job, much better than some have given him credit for. I've liked the game since I begin playing but like it even more now that the new engine is in place and rolling...

I think there have been some nice improvements.  HCA is better than the start of the new engine for sure, random stupid losses seem to be down....I think D2 and D3 are just about perfect right now.

D1, which has the harshest critics, does have some problems with recruit generation and the mid-major/major balance that currently exists, but I am confident things will get fixed.  It just might take some time.  But other than D1 recruit generation, I really don't have much to complain about.  But that IS a big issue right now that is hurting the D1 game.
