I thought we did this last time already?     

I am not upset about the time, but the timing could be better.
If they were going to do this, it would make sense to let us know a little earlier. Those of us serioous about recruiting block off the night recruiting starts when possible. I was set for Thursday, not have to shift and do it on Sunday. It will cause me some problems IRL that I could have avoided had they planned this a little further ahead.

First Season
Allen continues undelayed
Smith waits 2 extra days
Iba waits 3 extra days
Crum waits 3 extra days

Second Season
Allen continues undelayed
Smith waits 1 extra day
Iba waits 3 extra days
Crum waits 3 extra days

thats what was quasi-announced before last season

How about an official announcement in the season wrap-up email?

When people pay for a product they deserve at least some advanced notice. Something more than 2 days.

The recruiting process is the only aspect of this game that remains entirely appealing to me.    

 

Again. I dont mind the wait and maybe it was announced at some point, but the seasons rolled over and it came up on the recruiting pages that we would start Thursday... I waited until I saw the page to make plans for the weekend. (Yeah I know Im a geek) but I want to make sure I am there for the first two cycles. Now I will be forced to cancel Sunday evening plans. Wife sort of understands my addiction (she feels it is better than crack and/or prostitutes), but will be a headache to explain to her.
