well, all i can say is if that guy set you up to play +5 against him and then let his whole team keep shooting 3s, he's a moron.

One time out of the blue for a first round NT game an account of mine had the same thing happen to it, but I was logged in to gameplan and changed all my settings back.  I doubt it was a user who did it, I think some times weird things happen to the game and settings on its own.  Heck just last season I had a guy drop from a C free throw to an F just out of the blue even though he was practicing 12 minutes a night.  Again fortunately I sent in a ticket about it and got it fixed, but it stinks that happened.

Also, what does it say about the new engine that one can play an uptempo offense and  +5 defense neither of which you've practiced, with ridiculous non-sensical end-of-game settings, and still only lose by 1 in an NT game?

I wonder if it happened to any other NT games?

It's happened to me a couple of times over the years. It's not a hack, just a glitch.

There's no "glitch" in the code that randomly changes ONE coach's offense/defense, end-of-game settings and tempo adjustments.  No such thing.  If it were a glitch, then it'd be easy for CS to go back and look in the code and see it (and give refunds to those affected).

My setttings were Triangle/M2M/-2/Normal/Adjust always.  The end of game settings had been the same all season.

The settings were changed to Flex/2-3/+5/Uptempo/Adjust never.  The end of game settings were all changed to extremes maximize-my-loss-probability settings.
For example "when winning late" was set to Play Uptempo with +5 on 3-pointers.

Did it not occur to you that each of those settings is the very first choice on each dropdown menu?

It's a glitch, not a hack. The settings weren't manually changed, they all kacked and reset.

Did you get that from CS or is it an assumption?  This happened to me for the first time this season with U of D.  That's a pretty big issue if it is indeed a glitch...

It would seem a logical conclusion that the select statement from the database somehow did not return anything, thus all the first selections (defaults) are used.

First item in each drop down box and zero's (unchecked) for the "check boxes".

I would think that all zeros (or a blank result) returned from the select statement would cause it ... at least that is where I would start looking if I was programming the game.

I'd demand some sort of refund/compensation.

I'm going to treat it like playing basic strategy in blackjack.  Over 100's and 1000's of games, it gives you the best chance of winning (or losing less).  But for 1 game, you can play like an a-hole and get lucky if you have a "hunch" that a normally stupid strategy might be beneficial in that 1 instance.

They should have "credited" the event, or replayed the NT game.  Really does appear to be a reset to default settings and not a hack.
