hawkfan, the reason is because the All-Conference team is about stats, and jumping early for the draft is about talent. Whittington and Millsap are awesome players, but you only gave them enough distro to average 7-8 ppg. Those are two separate things.
If you ask me, the real flaw is that they let some schools get (like yours) get decimated by four early entries, while other schools with comparable players don't lose any. I've said for a long time that they need to put a measure in place to significantly decrease the likelihood of that happening.
You mean like real life Kentucky losing 4 Freshmen (only 3 who where starters) in the real NBA draft?
If you recruit "the best" players, I would be expecting them to leave early.
And like in real life, it is based on talent and not playing time or stats.
If you look at either Eric Bledsoe or Daniel Orton from Kentucky, neither of them had the "Stats" or "Awards" to leave early ... yet both were taken in the first round of the NBA draft.
